01 / THE DETAILS THAT MATTER

THOUGHTFULLY MADE.
For the people using it.

01

Start with the venue

The delivery sheet sets the configuration. Aspect ratio, frame rate and audio mapping are agreed up front.

02

Keep versions clear

A labelled delivery and technical summary identify exactly which film, language and subtitle version you receive.

03

Check picture and sound

Package verification is combined with content review. A venue ingest check can then confirm the receiving system.

FROM YOUR MATERIALS to the final delivery.

  4. 04

    Deliver to the festival

02 / DELIVERABLES & PREPARATION

THE WORK. In detail.

What is included

  • Review of the locked master and supplied festival specification.
  • DCP creation in the agreed configuration.
  • Verification, picture and audio review, and subtitle review where included.
  • Digital package delivery with a technical summary identifying the version.

Color grading, sound mixing, restoration, physical drives, shipping and encrypted delivery with KDM administration are outside the base packages. Mapping supplied 5.1 audio does not create a surround mix from stereo.

Verification and playback

Structural verification and playback answer different questions. A verifier can identify package and integrity issues; watching and listening checks the intended content. The DCP-o-matic verification documentation describes the technical checks available in that workflow.

Venue requirements and projection systems vary. Provide the actual delivery sheet and allow time for an ingest or screening check with the venue where possible.

Before you order

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED. Before you need to ask.

Can I send an unfinished edit?

Please send a locked master. Changes to picture, runtime, audio or subtitles after mastering may require a new package and quote.

Are subtitles burned into the picture?

The subtitle method is agreed from the venue requirements. Do not add burned-in subtitles to the master unless that version is specifically required.

Do you guarantee acceptance at every festival?

No. We prepare the agreed deliverable and its verification record; the receiving venue confirms compatibility and acceptance.
